McConkey’s Jungle Shack Chefs and enthusiastic cooks will compete for the Ultimate Chef title. There will be qualifying events beginning in February leading up to the final competition. Dates are posted. The event will benefit the Learning Through Loggerheads (LTL) organization. A piece of Foots & Footsie art work will be raffled off. An oyster roast will follow. 3rd Annual Low Country Classic High School Tournament
The Plantation Course at Edisto This invitational tournament will feature a field of 20 high school teams from South Carolina (with 5 players each) will be on hand with their coaches. There will be 6 Teams from the Upstate, 9 from the Midlands, and 5 from the Low Country. Parents, friends, relatives, school officials, and college coaches plan to attend the tourney, and seating will be available to spectators with no admission charge. Everyone is invited to come out and watch these talented young players compete against other High Schools throughout the State. The Practice Round will begin Friday, March 30 after lunch, and competition will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday, March 31. The Final Round will be 9:00 am on Sunday, April 1. 4th Annual Edisto Beach King Mackerel Tournament

- This "No Check-Out Tournament" is a Southern Kingfish Association (SKA) Division 3 event.
- Tournament pays 10 places with a top prize of $10,000 (based on 100 entries)
