COVID-19 Updates for the Town of Edisto Beach

Update: May 22, 2020

Effective May 15, 2020,  the Town of Edisto Beach is open,  the checkpoint has been removed & any beach restrictions are back to pre COVID-19

See the beach regulations here: https://www.townofedistobeach.com/beach-regulations

Most of our restaurants have opened for take-out, with limited outside and “dining in” options, in order to observe the social distancing requirements set forth by the South Carolina Governor.

Social distancing is strongly encouraged and Edisto businesses are working to protect their staff and our visitors with this practice.

Edisto Beach State Park is open with restrictions.  Day-use at the Beach is from 8 am to 6 pm with a limited capacity of 65 vehicles.

Botany Bay Beach is closed until further notice.

The rest of the Botany property and the driving tour will remain open for biking, walking, and horseback riding.  Jason’s Lake is open for youth and adult fishing Friday, Saturday, Sunday only- catch and release.

We look forward to your visit to Edisto and hope to see you soon!
