When you hear fall, your first thought may drift to all-things-pumpkin spice, football season, and beautiful red and golden foliage. While all of that is wonderful, for us, fall means most of that PLUS sun and sand! If you’ve never experienced fall at Edisto Beach, you’re in for a glorious autumn treat! Cue still-warm temperatures, less-crowded beaches, and plenty of things to do!
It’s a Beautiful Time of Year
Moderate fall temperatures* means there’s still time for spending days soaking in the sun on the beach. With school (and virtual school) back in session, the crowds are smaller during the fall season, offering plenty of room to really spread out on our already quiet shores. As a bonus, rental rates are lower in the fall than in peak summer months! Our lodging providers are happy to help you find the ideal place for you to rest your head.
Did you know Fido & Rover are welcome on Edisto Beach? That’s right, if you can’t bear to leave your four-legged friends behind, dogs are allowed on our beaches year-round, but November 1 – April 30th, no leash is required! Did we mention Edisto Beach also offers a number of pet-friendly accommodations? Get your pup(s) ready for this fall vacation!
*Average Highs/Lows: September 85°F/69°F, October 77°F/58°F, and November 68°F/49°F
